Silicon bronze offers good to excellent  corrosion resistance and is used in hundreds of applications.Typically used in marine applications and corrosive environment.Thread cutting screws may or may not have a female component and, like other screws they are used to hold two (or more) parts together.Thread cutting screws are unique because, just like their name implies, they cut their own thread and produce shavings.
